Theme Answers : European cars, elements of the periodic table, NZ islands, multiples of 9 or 3.
Word Puzzle Answers : It’s a small world after all, over the fence, ants in your pants.
CP11 : the description for this was wrong so we have credited all teams for this checkpoint. Apologies for that.
6hr Scoring : many of the 6hr teams were unable to meet the requirement of 8 CPs per stage as it was too hard. We thought carefully about how to deal with that in terms of placing and scorings. We didn’t want to disqualify or penalise teams because our course setting was too difficult but we had to acknowledge those teams who made extra effort (some arriving late) to get the 8 CPs on each stage.
So, we have given a 200pt bonus for each stage that a team got 8 CPs. This was carefully calculated by our expert mathematician to be as fair as possible. Apologies for any confusion, we will modify or remove that rule for next race.
